In October 2017, Emergent BioSolutions acquired the Vanrx® SA25 Aseptic Filling Workcell, which was installed in our Winnipeg site in Manitoba, Canada, in April 2018. This investment strengthens our capabilities in aseptic processing and enhances our capacity to support the drug development and manufacturing of biotherapeutics and vaccines. Within two years of installation, the Winnipeg site received regulatory approval from Health Canada and the FDA for filling commercial products on their machine.

Multiple vial sizes permit filling without the need for change parts and focuses on preserving drug substance. In addition, the integration of a gloveless isolator, which utilizes press-fit vial closures with incorporated stoppers supplied in a pre-sterilized nest, provides additional flexibility to meet your products needs.

Visit the Vanrx® website to discover more about the features and benefits of this cutting-edge technology.
